With the school year coming to close I thought it would fun to make end of the year gifts for my kids to take school to give to their classmates. My son is in kindergarten and his class has a few students with dietary restrictions. With that in mind I decided that the gift should not involve food. I know kids at this age love blowing bubbles. I decided to purchase a tube of bubbles from Michaels. These bubbles are very cost efficient. They are only $1.00 per tube and I actually caught a sale where if you buy one you get one 50% off. I grabbed a variety of colors and attached a little gift tag that I created on my computer. The gift tag reads, “Hope your summer BUBBLES with fun!” I attached gift tag to the bubbles using multicolored string.
My daughter is in 4th grade and wouldn’t be very eager to take bubbles to her classmates so I chose to use KOOL-AID Jammers. During their testing time this year, my daughter told me how much the students in her class enjoyed sipping on these as part of their afternoon snack.
I placed each jammer in a clear bag, added a gift tag and tied it all together with gingham ribbon. The KOOL-AID Jammers are very cost effective also, you can get a box of 10 pouches for $2.00. The tag on these reads, “Have a KOOL summer”
These are easy and simple little gifts to send at the end of the school year! If you decide to make these please leave a comment and let me know how they turned out! I’ll be sharing more DIY easy gift ideas.
